Expectations from client
Mr. Lotfi wanted to secure a contract with the Chinese supplier "Candi" and then improve the platform step by step with me as his tech co-founder.
What I delivered
Multi-vendor marketplace with role-based dashboards, product management, cart/checkout, order tracking, reviews, and admin moderation panel.
Problem
The founder needed a credible online presence to show Chinese suppliers he was serious. Without a working product, no one would take the deal seriously. He had no technical team and a limited budget.
Solution
I built a fully functional multi-vendor marketplace MVP from scratch. Role-based dashboards for clients, shop owners, and admins. Dynamic product specs, country-based visibility, cart/checkout flow, order snapshots, payment tracking, reviews, and soft deletes for safety. The backend logic was designed to be scalable and production-ready from day one.
Process
Started with business requirements and user flow mapping. Built the data model in Prisma with PostgreSQL, then layered tRPC endpoints for type-safe API calls. Frontend was Next.js App Router with Tailwind and shadcn/ui. Prioritized the flows that would be demoed to the supplier: product browsing, cart, checkout, and the admin panel.
Outcome
The founder used the MVP to successfully sign a +50K contract with a Chinese truck parts company. The site became his primary sales tool and credibility proof.
What the client said
“Working with you and trusting you on my website was one of the smartest decisions I have made this year. Your dedication, transparency, and fair pricing improved my reputation after delivering that masterpiece, and I'm still willing to work with you long term.”
